What VidCapy does
You paste a YouTube link, pick a quality (1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p or MP3) and get a link to save the file on your phone or computer. You can also save the video cover in the highest resolution available. It works for regular videos and Shorts, in any modern browser.
How we work
- Free, no account: the site is supported by advertising, so you never pay or sign up.
- Nothing stored: we don't keep the videos or a history of what you download. See the Privacy Policy.
- Fair use: there is a download limit per minute so bots don't take the service down for everyone else.
- Respect for creators: only download what you have permission to save. Rights holders can ask us to block a video on the Copyright page.
